The Ideal Eye (2020) is an animation/performance art piece that reflects on Lacan's interpretation of Freud (The Mirror Stage).

The concept of the Ideal I has been decontextualized/explored literally and figuratively in this piece, and serves as my (Jonathan Riles) modern interpretation of the original text when applying it to my life.
